Faces - #13 of 29

My face for today is a quick mixed media head on collaged surface for the class by Jane DesRosier in the Life Book e-course to "honor my past". I needed more than a month to figure out, how to do it my way. I just couldn't make myself do it the way Jane had suggested: to gather and print out black & white images associated with my past to collage the background. First of all, because after 5 decades on this planet, I'm highly bored to spend time digging in and analyzing the illusional entities called "ME", "MY LIFE", or "MY PAST".  This makes it really hard to do the assignments for the course in general, so I'm moving forward on a snails speed. :)
But, yesterday, I woke up and new, what I will do: use pages from an old diary to collage the background and do a quick head over it to depict the hard part of my past: depression, struggles, toxic relationships etc. :) And so I did. Honestly speaking, I added some more final touches here and there, but am too lazy to shoot a new pic and edit another image. It's Mother's day here after all :)

A HAPPY DAY TO ALL MOMS!

There may be some sadness in her eyes, but there is also strength, and she looks as if looking forward to a bright future.
