Cheap, but gorgeous!

This is the theme of the EST challenge for this week. I didn't win the previous one, but am still in charge for this one! LOL

Times are hard now, but people, especially women, want to look and feel good and everybody needs to earn it's living and sell it's work. So let's try to use recycled or other not expensive supplies to create something beautiful!!! Good luck!!!

My flowers are still small, but trees are blooming so beautiful now! / Manas puķes vēl joprojām ir mazas, bet koki pašlaik zied tik skaisti!








I haven't planted the new seedling yet, will do it later this week. / Vēl neesmu iestādījusi jauno stādu, izdarīšu to vēlāk šonedēļ.

As you can see, one seedling did not survive and two don't do very well (do you see the blooming apple tree?).
Kā jūs varat redzēt, viens stādiņš neizdzīvoja un divi nejūtas sevišķi labi (vai redzat ziedošo ābeli?).
I bought a new one for the empty space, but will wait until a better moon phase for planting. Esmu nopirkusi vienu jaunu tukšajai vietai, bet pagaidīšu mēness fāzi, kas labvēlīgāka stādīšanai.

Our teenage cat has payed with the soil in one of the boxes and damaged the seedlings. :( I'm afraid, at least one of them will hardly survive. And, as I know our cat, he'll not stop damaging them. So I decided to take a picture of the seedling in the second box, too, and to tray hard to guard at least these ones. :D To be continued next Monday night...

Mūsu pusaugu kaķis bija spēlējies ar zemi vienā no kastēm un apskādējis stādus. :( Baidos, ka vismaz viens no tiem diezin vai izdzīvos. Un, cik es pazīstu mūsu kaķi, viņš mierā neliksies. Tā nu es izlēmu nofotogrāfēt stādus arī otrajā kastē un pielikt visas pūles, lai nosargātu vismaz tos. :D Turpinājums sekos nākošās pirmdienas vakarā...

Taraaaa!
These are my first (but definitely - not last) ceramic beads - barrels made by a friend of mine, but painted (washed?) by me. I'm so excited and have so many ideas, what I could do with clay and these paints!
Šīs ir manas pirmās (bet noteikti - ne pēdējās) keramikas pērlītes - cilindri, ko izgatavoja kāda mana draudzene, bet nokrāsoju es. Esmu tādā sajūsmā, un man ir tik daudz ideju, ko es varētu darīt ar mālu un šīm krāsām!
