Something interesting just happened to me.
I received an e-mail from the wikigallery.org with compliments about my blog and an offer.
They would put a link to my blog on their site in exchange for me to link back to them from my blog.
I knew the site already and had nothing against it at the beginning.
As it turned out later, they put the link to my blog even on 3 sites. On page 31 on all of them, but that was OK with me, as I'm not interested in promoting my blog aggressively right now.
But what I needed to link back to was not OK with me. It was a site selling painted copies of old paintings.
I'd rather see people buying art by contemporary artists. So they don't need to paint copies of artworks of past centuries to survive.
So I said NO to more exposure for my blog for a price, that wasn't OK with me. :)

Thank you, Nini! I was not sure, what to do, but my heart feels light :)
Totally agree with you on this Rita, there are so many wonderfully unique artists around. It is a shame they couldn't be promoting some of them XXX
Thank you so much for your support, Gina!
well done for standing true to how you feel and what you do. Thanks for standing up for all of us too. :)
Thank you so much, Suzi, for your support!
