My Creative Space - Off-Loom Bead Weaving

I'm pretty much in knitting for now. But it's covered and dark here today. So I can't shoot pics of my new creations. Decided to show you something I made about a month ago: a beaded ball designed and generously shared by Eva Maria Keiser on her blog .

First I had to make 20 beaded triangles and to get rid of at least half of the threads. It looked like this, when I started to join them.

The first half is ready. It looks like a turtle, doesn't it?

Both turtles are ready.

This is the result. The Czech beads are not the right ones for this design and the ball isn't holding its form well. I should have filled it. But there's no way I would remake it in the next future! :)

I look at the plates of tiny beads and think about how it would be to make something like this... And all I can imagine is how I'd just manage to drop those beads all over the table and floor. :D

It must take a lot of time and skill, it's very impressive!
