My Creative Space - Art Journalig and Beaded Butterfly

Last week was pretty productive for me: finished and delivered 2 pretty big translations, filled the last full spread in my first art journal inspired by the e-course by Effy Wild, started a new art journal, beaded a butterfly, made a mixed media piece with a candle, painted a couple of sheets of paper and did at least one sketch every day.

My Creative Space - Beaded Beads

This week, I'm making beaded beads again thanks to a lovely customer from Austria.

The finished ones are taking a sun bath at a window sill to become clean of all disturbing energies the supplies might have arrived with.

My Creative Space - Beaded Eggs/Beads

Lately, I'm trying to use the pattern of beaded egg generously shared here . Sorry for the bad picture: my old cheap camera is striking even with the new expensive batteries :(

My Creative Space - Off-Loom Bead Weaving

I'm pretty much in knitting for now. But it's covered and dark here today. So I can't shoot pics of my new creations. Decided to show you something I made about a month ago: a beaded ball designed and generously shared by Eva Maria Keiser on her blog .

First I had to make 20 beaded triangles and to get rid of at least half of the threads. It looked like this, when I started to join them.

The first half is ready. It looks like a turtle, doesn't it?

Both turtles are ready.

This is the result. The Czech beads are not the right ones for this design and the ball isn't holding its form well. I should have filled it. But there's no way I would remake it in the next future! :)

My Creative Space

I'm trying out beading techniques and patterns new for me. Some beaded beads are finished already.

My Creative Space - Beaded Beads

I have started to make beads beaded around larger wood beads. What I love the most is figuring it out all by myself without any patterns. The first ones of them are already listed in my supplies shop.

My Creative Space - Easter Eggs - Decorated Stones

I have decorated some stones to transform them into sophisticated Easter eggs.

This is the beginning.

On the half way.

Almost finished.

The result is available in my Dawanda shop .
