An Amazing Night

Last night, I participated in an amazing event: in a livestreamed painting class with Shiloh Sofia McCloud. It started at 9 pm for me after a pretty stressful day without a nap.

As I had done a class with this amazing woman, artist, and teacher in Life Book 2013 and have participated in the Soul Art Day, I wanted at least try to work together with others in real time again.

It turned out an extraordinary painting and connecting marathon of 9 hours for me! And it isn't over yet, as many are (still) working at their paintings and connecting through a Facebook group.

This is, how my painting (60x80 cm) started.

And this is, how it looks right now.

It still needs some finishing touches, but the main work is done and the main message from my heart depth received: I am a Healer and desire to touch as many people with my gifts as possible.

And there are much more gains for me from last night. The most important ones:

1. the wonderful feeling of being connected to the Divine and wonderful sisters all over the globe

2. no exhaustion at all without any stimulants until 6 am (a proof, that I can create and connect 9 hours on a row even at night, if I am with the right company :) )

3. more confidence about who I am and more trust in my intuition.

I AM EXTREMELY THANKFUL TO
SHILOH SOFIA, JONATHAN,
AND EVERYBODY WHO PARTICIPATED AND IS STILL PARTICIPATING!

An Extremely Intense and Blissful Week

The last weeks has been an extremely intense and blissful for me.

As you know, I'm working through this book and, honestly, since the first day, some money is coming in EVERY SINGLE DAY! WOW!

We are in week 3 of the Awakening Your Unique Self course with Marc Gafni, and I'm just loving it! There is so much valuable content every week, and the daily practices and assessments are going deeper and deeper! I'm really starting to discover my unique self and to appreciate it and it's story.

On Monday, I received the regular Life Book 2013 content and was absolutely thrilled! It was a class with Shiloh Sofia McCloud! I haven't done many of this and even last years Life Book classes, because they didn't speak to me, but this was just perfect! And Monday was a holiday here, so I started to work through it right away and felt completely at home with the suggested process!

I was so consumed by it, that I forgot to shoot images of some of the stages! Sorry for that! But there are still some I can show you :)

The result was a huge surprise to me: I met my inner King with all his attributes! When I did some research on the symbolism, it just blew my mind away! It was the truth about me I hadn't let come to my conscious for a very long time!

On Tuesday and Wednesday, I went to the public studio to work on the painting I have started over there. Still not sure, where it is going, And it's a huge challenge to me to work 3 hours on a row on a set time. My usual method is to live next to my work and to add something to it, when I feel, what it wants.

On Thursday, was the Soul Art Day. It started only at 4 pm for me, and I wasn't prepared actually, but that was OK. I had so much fun watching the artists work in the studio and chat online and getting to know the process. Late at night, I could  start the body mapping part.

On Friday morning, when the house was empty and quiet, I could dive into it and, very soon, I knew the answer to my question: "Starting a life coaching business is the right thing to do for me know!" The image is still developing, and I'm still receiving even more very specific information from it! But I have started to work at my new business already: enrolled in this free course and made an appointment with my potential webmaster. :)

My Creative Space

Last week, I might have finished (one never knows, right? :) ) 2 mixed media pieces:

These flowers inspired by Christy Tomlinson's class in LifeBook 2013
(Sorry for the blurry pics: still no card reader and almost no day light here)

And this abstract on a piece of repurposed card board box

There are some more pieces in the works. I have moved on with the 4 apples

And continued working on this canvas. It's really puzzling me, because the frame turned out to be of irregular shape.

And, of course, I worked on new assignments in the CAPI course with Milliande. One of them makes me really ponder now: the idea of the Body of Art Work. Before last week, I didn't know about the importance of creating somewhat cohesive series for each selling artist. Now, I'm seriously pondering, if and how this could work for me being extremely versatile and liking to try and learn something new all the time. It would mean to stop watching art videos and trying to do something new as long, as I have stuck with one idea, explored it and created a series of at least a dozen. Wouldn't be completely new for me, as I often work on more than one surface at a time, but a dozen is a really huge number for me... :)

Uddate: just joined another year long challenge Creative Every Day :)

My Creative Space

For the last week, I have been really busy, not with work for money, although the school break is over and I've had 3 classes and a meeting already. I have spent much time and energy arting: 3 mixed media paintings are finished or very close to it, 3 are in the works, 4 more papier-mache apples are covered with freshly made gesso, and their boxes - sanded. As days are extremely short and dark here in the North right now, and I still don't have a card reader for the new photo camera, I'll not bother you with big blurry images. I hope, you can get an impression from this mosaic.

Most of my time, I have spent in online artistic communities though.

First and foremost, with the more than 150 extremely talented ladies dedicated to create A Piece A Week in 2013.

Then, I have signed up for the year long LifeBook 2013 e-course, more for the community than for the classes. If I really follow the instructions, I mostly highly dislike not only the results, but even the process and feel like trying to walk in someone else's shoes. (Or is it just the disturbing feeling of stepping out of the comfort zone?) Besides, I rarely have the suggested supplies. But I love those teachers and cherish the great community and atmosphere around them. So, for now, I honestly try to create something for the assignments, and spend much time in the respective Facebook group with almost 900(!) members.

And then, there is a F.R.E.E. e-course, that feels like tailor made for me: Create Art Portfolio Ideas with Milliande. It is all about discovering our own creative style and moving intuitively. Sice the art classes at school, I have experienced it: the more given program, the less my creativity flows. The first raw sketchbook assignment was posted yesterday, and I had some real blast playing today! Even my daughter asked for a sheet of paper to participate :)

There could be about 10 more artistic online groups I'm participating in, but let's leave something for another time, OK?

And now, you know, what comes, don't you? :) It's like the quick sentence at the end of many commercials :) To see more creative spaces visit this site and be inspired!

Faces - #19 of 29

My face for today is a WIP - this girl mostly in water colors. My day started with an exercise in the Life Book e-course by Tamara Laporte supposed to honor my now. And, as I went on with it and started to visualize my thoughts and feelings, my inner little girl showed up with wings made of support and love by my extremely loving and supportive on-line friends and myself during the last year, that culminated in changing the name of my blog last night and a pretty clear vision of the ways I decided to go to develop and put out her/my fine art into the buying world in the coming months. She seems really to be ready to fly, doesn't she? :)

Wednesday

Faces - #16 of 29

This is, how far I've got today with a face I started yesterday, before it became too dark (it's covered and rainy here and, on Wednesdays, I'm pretty busy at school). Honestly speaking, she is by far not so smooth and doll-ish, as she looks. So stay tuned, she can change her appearance drastically :D

Tuesday

Faces - #15 of 29

As I was pretty busy today with a commission - 20 head wreaths for a children dance group - so my face for today is a pretty quick sketch of a grey cat :)
Actually, while working at the wreaths, I watched a couple of Life Book videos by Tamara Laporte. Usually, they are much too long for me, so I never seem to find time for them or get bored too soon. But this was the perfect combination, as making 20 similar wreaths is as boring, as it can be, but provides enough occupation for my body not to get sleepy watching long videos. Inspired by Tam's arting I started another face - a young girl and am quite pleased with how it looks so far. It's too dark to shoot a pic of it though. So stay tuned and you'll see her soon-ish, if I don't completely ruin the portrait :)

Sunday

Faces - #13 of 29

My face for today is a quick mixed media head on collaged surface for the class by Jane DesRosier in the Life Book e-course to "honor my past". I needed more than a month to figure out, how to do it my way. I just couldn't make myself do it the way Jane had suggested: to gather and print out black & white images associated with my past to collage the background. First of all, because after 5 decades on this planet, I'm highly bored to spend time digging in and analyzing the illusional entities called "ME", "MY LIFE", or "MY PAST".  This makes it really hard to do the assignments for the course in general, so I'm moving forward on a snails speed. :)
But, yesterday, I woke up and new, what I will do: use pages from an old diary to collage the background and do a quick head over it to depict the hard part of my past: depression, struggles, toxic relationships etc. :) And so I did. Honestly speaking, I added some more final touches here and there, but am too lazy to shoot a new pic and edit another image. It's Mother's day here after all :)

A HAPPY DAY TO ALL MOMS!

Thursday

My Creative Space

The last week was a pretty busy one for me again, but I still managed to create something every day, that makes me feel really happy.

I started and finished a page for the Life Book class with Wyanne .
And did the first exercise for an on-line workshop with Jane DesRosier  :)

I started and finished two spreads in my art journal as well. With the first one, I was pretty much stuck, until a spirit showed up and wanted to say something. It was Julia, who is believed to be the receiver of the first Valentine's note. No wonder, she wanted to remind me, that: "Faith and patience bears fruit. Always."
And this is the other one, featuring some paper and cards sent to me by one of my Sisters of the Book, the lovely Becky Young.
And I even made a little spring decoration for our place using eggs, flowers and hearts felted by me and the first spring flowers from our garden.

Lately, I've been pretty busy with translations, so not much artistic creations completed in my creative space last week. Just a couple of art journal spreads:

Wording: 30 years... But we - the flowers and the crazy ones - don't care (my eldest son turned 30 last week)

Devoted to my 5 lost babies

A card for my only aunts name day

A needle felted angel for the Equinox doll swap on Milliande's art community for women

I even tried to work at a painting over collage for a class by Tamara Laporte. But, also the technique is pretty familiar to me, it isn't easy, as too much of intention at the beginning really hinders my creativity... I want to learn to take the classes just as impulses and to let my creation to develop on its own way. So I'm behind, but not giving up :D

And sorry for the bad images: we don't have much daylight here in the North for now.

The last week has been pretty emotional and productive for me. So there are a couple of finished spreads and sheets.
A self portrait inspired by Kylie Pepyat-Fowler's classes in the Life Book course
A tribute to my first ever sold painting
A tribute to the five little rat boys born in our home and passed to the big world last Friday
A spread inspired by the Book of Days with Effy Wild
I even tried to use some home made molding paste inspired by the Pop your ART out with Jeanette House...
...and made some paper flowers learning something new to teach in my workshops at school.
The last couple of days I've been pretty busy with classes and translations, but there is still a new spread starting to emerge in the short brakes.
Obviously, there is no way back: making art is a part of my everyday life I just can't live without. :)

This week, our absolutely unexpectedly gotten rat babies turned 3 weeks and had to be separated to not get another litter in the next future. Now we have to find new homes for the most of them.
And I really wouldn't mind, if my health would have been better.
But, never the less, I have arted a good load, as I still didn't have any translation jobs to work at, and work at school had settled in.
A dream board has been started and finished inspired by the one by Tamara Laporte
And another spread for my Life Book is emerging inspired by Bonnie Rose Bryan's class
And there are a couple of new spreads in my art journal, most of them -  inspired by Effy Wild's Book of Days and the life of the group of more than 1 000 women around this project
Pippa Gore sent me some happy mail
Facebook is wonky and many of us can't access our main chat group
Hoping...
Surrendering...
The last one incorporates an image I've painted inspired by Amy McDonald's live stream and is the back inside cover of the journal, so I have started a new one! YAY! Always love to do that!

This week, I'm pretty busy with another translation and the beginning of a new semester at school, but feeling better than during the first 10 days of the year :)
I manage to art in the breaks along with Effy Wild and her Book of Days ...
... and Tamara Laporte and her "Lifebook".
I even created my first ever ATC for a challenge by Rachelle Panagarry.
And I knit ruffled scarves, while watching movies before going to bed. :)
