Money Never Was A Big Deal

Money is not a big deal. Never was.

When it's there, good. When it's not there, no big deal.

We can always find ways to survive and even thrive.

Recently, I spent a week with 0 money in my bank account and 0 money in my purse, with no certainty that large sums are on the way.

My discoveries:

1. I am a really resourceful housekeeper and cook (All 5 of us (I, my 2 youngest kids, and 2 pets) got well fed every day even though I never make and keep big stash of food. There was even some of it still left before I went shopping after a week of abstinence.)

2. I didn't feel as desperate as I was always afraid I would.

3. 0 money made our life even simpler and easier, because I didn't need to do shopping and figure out what exactly to buy.

 4. The whole way I experience spending money changed after this one week completely. Now, I can truly enjoy it even though I hated it before.

5. I realized money has no value apart from the one we assign to it. So, yesterday, I stopped treating it as my god, measuring it, paying much more attention to it as it deserves which I have been doing at least for 4 decades. Feels so great, deliberating, and empowering!

There is one thing that had prepared me for this experience though.

Since the beginning of 2017, the old ways of dealing with business, future, and, yes, money, stopped working for me completely.

Pretty soon, it was crystal clear to me, that these are the last 3 pillars of fear and scarcity mindset that are ready to be exchange with Truth in my human experience.

It took me more than 1/2 a year on top of more than 4 decades of being on the quest for Truth already and I got lots of help, but I am an absolutely different expression of the Source now as I was at that moment of clarity.

Roger Hamilton says: "Wealth isn't how much money you have. Wealth is what you're left with if you lose all your money."

During that week, I discovered experientially that money is neither the problem nor the solution. What we believe about it is.

Now, each moment is filled with joy, appreciation, and overflowing love, to everything and everybody, which is not new for me.

But, now, it includes this human person you call Rita, business, future, and money as well.

How To Enjoy Making Decisions

Decision making has always meant some level of fear to me. The more important the decision, the more intense the fear.

Even after knowing deeply that there is not such thing as ultimate mistakes, that everything is just a part of the journey for me and for everybody involved, it didn't get much easier.

And, after making a decision, there was always some fear that it was the "wrong" one.

I know now that it comes from the conditioning deeply ingrained in my nervous system, that "mistakes" are real and their consequences - painful.

What else could it learn growing up as a child who wanted nothing more than make everybody around it happy but never succeeded completely?

It has taken me decades, first, to discover this conditioning, then, to accept it for what it was: the instinct of self-preservation of the body/person, and, then, many sessions of Inner Reconciliation to help the nervous system to unlearn the conditioning.

Lately, I am asking: "What is Love wanting to do through me now?" again and again, moment by moment.

And feeling/hearing the answer much clearer than before.

Especially, since I am paying attention to if it feels loving to my body/person, when I do something "for others".

So, some fear is still there, especially, with "bigger decisions" and as long as I am still living together with my two youngest kids.

But paying attention to feelings and sensations in my body, questioning the beliefs behind them (which is what Love often wants to do through me) let's my nervous system relax and even enjoy the process of making decisions.

And helping others to do the same and seeing how it works for them creates even more joy in my experience.

I would love to help you, too. Schedule a FREE session with me to see, if I can. :)

The Right Question

There is a situation around my seventeen years old daughter right now: she's alone outside the country without a return ticket and having a slight health issue.

She's a smart young woman and I'm sure she's handling it. I support her as much as I can from here, more precisely - as much as she lets me.

I don't think or worry much about it, as I know, that my worries would help neither her, nor me.

But every morning, before I'm completely awake, I start seeing horror movies in my imagination about me "losing her".

The emotions I'm experiencing feel like foreigners in my body, because I don't even believe in the possibility of actually having and losing somebody or something any more.

This morning, I even started crying because of the intense feeling of fear and powerlessness.

So, I sat with that energy, showed my understanding and compassion towards it, thanked it for making me a good mom and putting her needs before my own day in and day out all these years, while tapping on my collarbone.

I tried to help that energy to understand, that I don't "have" my daughter , so, it's impossible to "lose" her, that this irrational fear is not helping anybody in the current situation. That didn't change much.

But then, I had a slight hunch, that it's not "my" energy, that it just showed up in my body because it is stuck and needs my help.

So, still crying, I asked the energy: "Dear friend, would you be willing to return into the flow?"

And got the answer: "With pleasure!"

Poof! All the intense irrational feelings were gone. I could dry off my tears and start my day.

A Way To Find Your Innate Joy

Today, somebody shared a link to this post by Shenee Howard on Facebook.

"It didn't matter how much I accomplished or how much I did, the year was never enough for me. I had to do more, more, more. The work I did was NEVER good enough..."

Sounds familiar?

You can visit Shenee's website and read the whole article. It's short, but Shenee really nailed it!

Stopping only for a minute and listening to her advice might help you find your innate joy and finish off this year and start the next on a much happier note.

Stop Dreaming!

Today, I stumbled upon this article by Grant Andrew and couldn't help but share it.

Because I could sign it with my name.

And maybe add, that by living your life one step at a time you can and will find your natural joyfulness again.

So, enjoy the article and share how you feel about it in the comments below or in a private conversation.

Let's Dance! Shall We?

Yesterday, a friend mentioned Goa Trance to me.

Checking it out I remembered how much I actually liked to dance and that I haven't done it for some time.

So, this was my choice for this morning. :)

How To Live The Right Way

Toady, I discovered this video in my Facebook news feed.

It's an ad, but the truth shared in it isn't less valuable because of that, is it?

I would really love to hear from you about your experience with being and doing.
And, if you don't feel comfortable sharing it publicly, just schedule some time with me and let's talk.

A Huge A-ha Moment

For some time already, I have stopped to identify with painful emotions and am using a couple of simple, but effective techniques not to get stuck with them but letting them flow (The Sedona Method, Emotional Freedom Technique, Inner Reconciliation, The Work etc.)

Lately, triggered by an episode of addictive behavior and the call for local artists to submit works to the yearly show as well as The 100 Artworks Challenge by Kellee Wynne Conrad, I was following the suggestion of Echhart Tolle to stay with the emotions that I'm feeling before indulging in addictive "coping mechanisms", to explore them.

And, only an hour ago, I realized that I have never tried to apply those techniques to boredom and abulia. Don't know, why that took me so long, but I'm over the Moon that I discovered this fact at least today. I'm sure it will change the rest of my life. :)

You know I'm always happy to hear from you, right?

A Nice Week

This past week has been a bit easier on me in spite of the heat we are having here right now.

* I added a bit to my diary spreads every day. These are some of the "finished" ones.

* My daughter underwent the medical tests she needs to submit her papers to the next school.

* I visited my sister and we had a good chat. On the way home, I did some good shopping.

* The heat is still high, but bearable. Last night, I slept on the balcony. It felt really great!

* My oldest son helped me to reset his old iPhone he gave to me, so, now, I can use it.

* I had a tiny sale on Etsy.

* On Wednesday, I started to participate in the 5 week course The Chakra Effect: Evolving Into A Harmonious Human with GP Walsh.

GPs teaching resonates with me 100%, but I didn't have the money to take the course. When I said it to GP, he invited me to join for free and made my heart sing!

Now, I can get you in for $97. If you are interested, please, contact me via e-mail shown below.

Some More Bubbles and Blue

For the last week, I played a bit more with bubbles :)

A new painting on a 60x80 cm stretched canvas was started as always with some home made gesso and recycled paper collage.

Then, I added one of the glimmer mists from The Tattered Angels Paint System - the Chalkboard spray called Decadence.

The next layer was created peeling a couple of cooked beetroots over the canvas and rubbing it in with my hands :)

And so on, and so on, at one point adding some of the Tattered Angels paint called Dirty Martini to each of the bubbles and trying out the new supplies from my great haul as well.

Yesterday, I covered it with a satin varnish tinted with the Phthalo blue paint by Amsterdam using a wet sponge and called it finished.

My Creative Space - Heaps of Joy

The whole week, I was pretty busy, but today, oh, miracle, I have a free afternoon! YAY! Just edited all the pics and can take my time to create this post. Mmmm! Bliss! And it's sunny and rather warm outside! Even more bliss! And it's a super quiet house in the middle of the school brake, as my daughter is visiting her friend. Heaps of bliss! :)

First of all, I want to show you another precious visitor, who arrived on Tuesday: It's Gnomey on his wold tour between the members of my favorite Facebook group. :)

Like I said, it has been a pretty busy week for me, so I just continued working at the pieces I had already started: reknitted the pink cap for myself, almost finished the cap for my daughter, and these 3 manadalas could be finished.

And I have started to receive painted cards from my swap partners. These are the first 3, that arrived so far.
